Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her roles in various categories in the film and television the theater. Her debut role was that of twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap show Another World from 1987-1991. She won a Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. It is a popular belief that Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was chosen to play the role. Mr. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role however she decided to turn it down. Anne does not recall ever being offered the role with the name of John Carpenter or being offered the position. It is possible that one of her representatives turned down the job for her, but without ever informing the actress. Glen Larson sent her an preliminary draft of script that she was to use as an actor in the 1978 television program Battlestar Galactica. The actress initially refused the part due to the fact that her character wasn't robust. Glen later wrote a stronger part with Sheba. After having read the initial 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted immediately. The show ran for one season. The show was cancelled after one season.
